Phew! This was tough! So many great photos to chose from! But I’m right on schedule - I normally have the preliminary design posted 2 weeks after the wedding and the proofs shortly after that. So you can look forward to seeing the proofs by next Friday!

5/3/08 - Update –> I just finished my first pass at sorting through all of the proofs! After another round of sorting on Monday, I’ll start constructing the preliminary album design. Once that’s complete, I’ll be posting proofs so that you can see them all - there are several hundred! It was a fantastic day!

5/8/08 - Update –> I’m almost done with the preliminary album! I have about 54 pages at this point and just need to fill in a little of the fun at the reception!

The happy couple was married on Friday at St. Augustine’s with a reception afterward at the Italian American Center in Albany.

Yes, I have a TON of photos to sort through so it will take some time! Normally what I do is first sort through them and put together a draft of the couples wedding book album. Then a few days later I post all of the proofs so that everyone can see and order their favorites.

Photos from the Bethany House fund raiser..

Last fall, I had the pleasure of taking photos at the Bethany House fund raiser held in Troy, NY. A selection of those photos were published in Capital Region Magazine who I’ve been shooting for since last summer.

Stick It To Brain Tumors

We’re participating in the Stick It To Brain Tumors event again this year! This weekend, women from around the northeast and Canada are meeting in the Messa rink at Union college to play hockey. This tremendous event is a fund raiser to support cancer research at Boston Hospital.

The tournament will continue through tonite and will run from 8am to about 4pm on Sunday. Come one down and support the ladies in this worthy cause!

For the graduating seniors - we do weddings and can travel as needed! If you or a friend is planning a wedding, give us a call at 518-225-6306. We typically book 1-2 years in advance for weddings - so now is definitely the time to call!

Fine Art Photography coming SOON to the Guilderland Public Library!

Victor Grant will exhibit 30 years of fine art photography at the Guilderland Library from April 1st until April 30th.

The collection of 50 photographs were taken with a broad range of cameras over a 30 year period. He has used: an Argus C 3, a Minolta 101, an Olympus digital and finally a Canon 6.1MP digital Rebel.

Photographs in the exhibit will include:

• Architecture of the Capital District,Italy, California, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico,Washington D,C. and Nantucket, MA
• Landscapes, & Waterfalls including the Green Mts. of VT,Bern,NY Lake George.NY, Saratoga,NY, Rotterdam,NY, and Rensselaer,NY
• Wetlands of Stockbridge, MA, and Pittsfield,MA
• Wild Life, Nature and Seascapes of the Bahamas, Topsail, NC and St. Croix.
• Scenes from the 1980 Olympics

There will also be an exhibit of the Empire State Plaza revisited and images with no mats or frames.

A reception will be held on Saturday April 5 from 1-4 pm.

The Guilderland Library is located at 2228 Western ave. in Guilderland , NY.

Fine Art Photograph accepted for WMHT Auction

WMHT has accepted a photograph by Victor R. Grant for their annual auction which start on April 1st. 2008.

The title of the photograph is Drift Wood and was taken in Topsail, NC in 2007.
